hm it certainly isn't a bad deal, thats probably exactly what the car is worth Honestly. only really see automatic's for that price, and condition in florida. you can def find a manual s13 for that price without looking to hard though, s13 probably is going to be in worse conditin just cause older though.

I run twin thermos, never had any cooling problems with 240kw and a top mount that is bad for heat soak (started melting the paint on my bonnet). If you can run a clutch fan you shouldn't have any dramas though.
Gktech fans break easy, have seen 3 that have the blades snapped off of them. I used to like them but after seeing their hubcentric spacers shear off the centre bore alignment and their fucked out camber arms bent and twisted I've lost faith in them.

Heaps of guys here switch to thermos because of the high CFM's and it's easier than finding a good clutch fan.

18's are gonna look huge on that thing. Need some aero to pull off 18's without looking silly. Offset is key. 17×9+20 on the front with a slight roll and on the rear I've seen people fit 10" +20ish with less than 1 degree of camber. Anything wider than 9's on the front and it'll be a struggle without low offsets or tubs.

how did fitting the type x bumper go? did you need any extra brackets or anything like that?
>>
>>14703900
I already had a Type-X bumper under my sharknose to fit the frount mount intercooler, so it pretty much hooked right up to that, then I bent the stock fender brackets to hold both the fender & bumper, along with zipties so the corners wouldn't flop about.
Only thing I really need to get now to make everything go together is the fender extensions which are cosmetics.

Rings or valves. If you have been revving it hard I'd say do a leak down test to check you haven't destroyed the valves. Otherwise just compression test or could even be oil seals gone in your turbo. Pull off a section of cooler piping before your intercooler and if there is lots of oil then thats your problem. Even check the intake on yo turbro for oil in the front housing. Also maybe try runnning a catch can, even if it's home made into a coke bottle just to see how much oil it's breathing.

I've seen them sat flush before. I kind of like it sat in there. People go to alot of effort to hide the pop rivets and get the fuel flap looking right but I prefer the look of the rivets and sunken fuel flaps. To each their own.

Found this picture on google. My guess is you just space them out with washers and a longer bolt.. I'm sure you could get some sort of sleeve for the bolts aswell if you didn't want a pile of washers sat there.

yeah an s15 in the right colour, with the right amount of km's on it, being looked at by the right buyer will fetch a tall price. same goes for any in demand car though
>>
>>14714874
Its crazy how Autech s15's go for more than turbo Spec R's

Yeah I like it but the sunken fuel cap makes the overfenders obvious and therefore your wheel track most likely wider which cops love to defect for here in aus.
>>14714814
>>14714769
I prefer the sunken look too.
How'd you manage to get your tripcode to say wicked you dirty wizard? Obviously you can't tell me but was it luck or trial and error?

God damn it.
>>
>>14715342
Use tripcode explorer
It bruteforces trips that contain the string you input

Yeah but youre engineered, I've been defected for "32%" tint even though it was 35% done professionally, maybe SA is more lenient than NSW.

thinking of dropping the cash for that V2 boss kit and trying to make it work on my s13 hatch, thoughts? I'm already piecing the LS swap now
>>
>>14716648
Plz dont do it
>>
>>14716666
i cant find anything about someone trying it with s13s, and i'm not about to go buy a pos coupe s14 just to kit it. love the look of the mini muscle car though, i think it would look great on a hatch. but like i said, no pics or discussion about it online.

The quads speak for themselves, the amount of headfuck youre gonna encounter getting it to fit to then realize it doesnt suit the hatch shape just isnt worth it.
Do a s15 front end conversion or some shit.

yeah because rocketbunny trash is soo unique. i'll never get teenage ricers and their obsession with making the s-chassis look like shit.

I was thinking my M3 familia. I think everyone wants to trade their luxury performance vehicles for some vaping faggots cobbled together shit box.

because they think theyre being some speshul snowflake when really theyre just trying to ride the bandwagon of a played out kit that peaked 3 years ago
>>
>>14717941
:^) you're right i should just stance it and swap an sr20 and put some lights underneath it
>>
>>14718308
You could rb26 it? By installing that kit youre putting yourself in the same category as those ethnic blokes that ferrari kit their MR2s.

tried cranking car earlier and no work :'( i thought i was finished, but i guess not. all thats left is the wiring and its really fucking me sideways also the rear seal on the tranny but thats not a big deal.
>>
>>14719382
had it about a month and a half and the last thing to check off is the wiring but im not that great with it sadly. eventually this s13 will be up and running, eventually.
>>
>>14715829
Yeah but it's still got a 3" straight through to blast pipes and a screamer.

i'm saying that you guys hate on anything different. i personally don't see v8 240s with that kit where i'm from, but you might. its like putting a b18 in a civic, very standard
>>
>>14719415
Haha you are running the gauntlet then, just a varex away from being almost legit. I doubt cops would pick a screaer unless its blatantly obvious.
You could always argue it was engineered as part of the motor approval.
