I have a 2004 Honda Accord, that I recently did an oil change on. The Honda seems to have started burning through oil recently, and when I did the oil change there was about 3 qts left in the engine.
I changed the engine filter thinking that would be the issue. I then, started the car, and noticed it was giving off white smoke from the tail pipe. The car doesn't stall, or have issues ideling, and black residue is coming from the tailpipe was well.
Any ideas what this could mean
Is it smoke or water vapor?

Probably broken cylinder head gasket. Does your exhaust gas smell "sweet"? Is there oil in your coolant fluid? Then you know enough.

I believe it is smoke, but it doesn't smell sweet. I am going to check the radiator again.
radiator fluid is clean.
and it sputters, it will about ever 20 secs it will give out a light puff of smoke
Does it go away after? Is it always smoking?
Does it have any shade of blue? Does it smell like burning oil?
Buy a compression tester, pull your plugs, inspect them. Post pics of them here, and do a comp test on every cylinder.
This accord an I4, or a V6?
its not uncommon for an older car to smoke a bit when the engine is still cold. provided the smoke clears up after a short time, i wouldnt worry about it.

probably misfiring and burning a bit of oil, see if your valvecover gaskets are leaking and letting oil into the spark plug holes

this is a common problem with honda's i4
Clearly your car needs to be lowered.

Does it have a v6? Honda's v6 engines are pretty notorious for burning oil.

If it's LPG converted then it's normal. Otherwise I don't know
>d15
>burns more oil than gas
its fine nigga
Replace your PCV valve.

Oh shit wtf could this be what's burning oil in my 01 Accord? My valve cover has been leaking for a year but it looks very slight so I didn't think it would affect oil levels that much. There's definitely an oil smell when I floor it

Call Honda. They may have an LSC for excessive oil consumption
