How reliable is stock and unmodified S14?
>>
>>14691718

Do you mean 2.4 liter US version or 2.0 tarbo Jap ver?
>>
Very.

Worry about finding one first

>Jap
It's called 180sx and it's a bit different, and you're dumb.
>>
>>14691732
OP here, I already found one, should have been more specific. 5k at a dealership with 200k miles, straight body, no rust.
>>
>>14691738
If its at a dealer it's broken. If it worked right the PO wouldn'thave dumped it at a dealer. Dealer is baiting you hard with that good condition pricing.

>calls him dumb

The s14 in jdm is either a 200sx or Silvia, retard.
>>
>>14691776
Ad says it runs and drives flawlessly. It's just a couple states away from me so wondering if its worth the trip to pick up
>>

>200k
>on a ka24

Enjoy your headgasket. I'm currently rebuilding my second one from daily driving.

No. It's 200SX in Europe and Silvia in Japan.
>>

>The ad says
I don't give a fuck what the ad says. There's a 100% chance it's a dog. You're gonna drive however many states to see it with cash in hand to be dissapointed. But now that you're on the lot, the salesman is gonna rape you on another dogshit car on the lot. Trust me.

Alright, noted
>>
I owned a s14 from 2005 till 2015. It was very reliable. The only thing that stopped it, was a tree falling on it.
>>
>>14691718
There is no such thing anon, how can something that doesn't exist be reliable?
>>
Reliability is subjective.
Electronic is the lottery.
Proper engine maintenance will avoid most issues.
Normal mechanical wear is mostly influenced by how you drive.

Jap cars suffer mostly from axle and suspension wear/issues.
