Going to build one of these truck bed set ups so i dont have to commute M-F.
It will be for a 6ft bed in my 03 Tacoma.
Im not opposed to cutting into my camper shell either.
Was thinking of installing curtains and seeing if i can install a solar panel on top for charging my phone.

Folding cot and sleeping bag. No reason to kill your truck bed or lie on dust if you use it. If not go for it.

Ill just store my tools in the cabinets.
I have some camping gear, a sleeping bag rated for 0f, a Mexican blanket and an air mattress.
Im not hauling shit at all anymore.
