How can anyone not love Volvos?
They're the most comfy-secure-goodlooking cars in the world

as good looking as VW

None of their new cars have manual transmissions.
And the new xc90 is too complex for its own good. I'd love the new one with the old, simple Yamaha v8
Everyone loves Volvos OP, EVERYONE.

I got a V60 in Europe as a rental and I have to say that overall I really liked the vehicle.
Pros:
>nice styling, it was a nice hatch
>nice looking steering wheel with largely intuitive controls
>center dash layout was simple but looked nice; lots of real buttons made manipulating the radio/navigation/infotainment/climate easy whether driving or not
>front distance sensors at low speeds were nice given tight European parking garages
>comfy seats
>trim looked nice and solid, no indications of poor fit or "cheap" feeling plastic
Downsides:
>speed limiting feature on the cruise control was weird
>stick your fob in the slot and then pushbutton is dumb compared to true proximity
>no backup camera (guess this is a european thing) - not required to back up but it's a nice to have, given that it's considered a luxury car
I'd definitely look at a Volvo as either a rental or when I'm thinking of buying a new car in the future, I didn't really have an opinion before that.
