This is the first time I see an MR2 in this colour.
Did they only offer it on early MK1s or is it a respray?
Interior seems to match.

>thinks its original color
are you actually retarded?
>>14685165
Why shouldn't it be? Other than (possibly) in this specific case.
>>14685174
yeah m8, cus paint never fades and looks exactly the same as TWENTY FUCKING ONE YEARS AGO.
>>14685179
Entirely possible with proper care by washing your car now and then and not parking under gum trees
Rather than be a dick try actually answer ops question. He wants to know if that's a factory colour or custom
It's custom, OP

So is the interior custom as well?
Looks damn good if it's custom, I'm tempted but it's too far away and I've been told that the MK1b is a better car.
>>14685184
Getting mad over nothing.
That's a nice color OP but it's custom
>>14685162
>>14685195
It's just the seats right? Most likely custom, they look to be in good shape
>>14685188
oops wow, shamefur dispray.
>>14685185
not possible for any car that has been driven for 30 years unless its been hidden away in a garage for 25. Best case scenario its a third coat.

>8B8
It's a factory paint code called light blue metallic.
It´s an OEM colour:
85-87 Sky Blue Met. = 8B8
or
87-89 Medium Blue Mica = 8E3
or
89 Light Blue Mica = 8G2
>>14685209
doesn't even look metallic, looks like front left side is plastidip matte
>>14685216
Cool, thanks.
Guess most people just went for red or white MR2s instead.
>>14685217
Seats are factory as well. To answer >>14685200
>>14685159
Factory color, both exterior and the seats.

Sure they weren't all preserved, but these are the sort of car that'd be bought as a weekend car new and kept nice by some owners. It's entirely feasible that some still have nice paint even after 3 decades. I've got an MR2 and know some original owners that still have them and have kept them absolutely mint.
