O i love my protege5. It handles amazingly for a hatch and its acceleration is nothing to shake a stick at. And i could easily put a seat back and take a nap in it. I also put 2 12inch subs in the trunk and some speakers in the doors and the acoustics in the car are nice. Doesnt sound like ass.
Here's muh hatch, just put rain gutters on as side skirts, it worked ok. :3

There is an error message, but that's well known already, that the passenger airbag isn't working but kek it's because of the connector under the passenger seat, so if you move that the connector gets weird.
Other than that pretty good, the FIRE engines are bullet proof and they have quite a big aftermarket.

The latest gen is really well put together and reliable.
The only issue they had was a faulty electric steering module on the earlier models (Grande Punto).
Apart from that, there are no issues at all.
It's really stable at speed and corners very well with zero body roll. The only con is a numb steering wheel but oh well, at least it's 10/10 in the city.
And the 1.3 multijet 85hp/0.9 twinair 105hp are quite agile.

What's that in Europe units?
Our 500 is quite okay, the rear left light died two times in 3 years, it has made over 110k km in these three years. It's only the 0.9l twin air but it's actually quite fun
