Hey, /o/, I'm looking to buy a moped, but I don't have a truck to transport it.
Can you put a moped down on its side without wrecking it? I know it's kinda bad to put a bicycle down on it's crankside, but I don't know shit about mopeds.
I've got a Ford Escape and I'm thinking that it'll fit crammed in the back with the seats down.
buy a bolt on toe hitch for 100 bucks and get a uhaul motorcycle trailer for 20 bucks a day.
it's going to take 3 people to put that thing in the back of your ford and soak everything in gas and oil.

Sure, just drain the oil first.

Thanks guys, I think I'm gonna look into the trailer at that point.

I own a bunch of mopeds and for the smaller ones I lay them down but for the larger ones I just use my small car hauler. Just rent a trailer if you have doubts.
Buy a cheap ass car, make a badass transport rig.

there is nothing dangerous about this at all

Like what? If you reinforced around the areas your removed and fabricated a strong mount for the bike it should be safe.

strap it to the roof or go rent a uhaul
just drain it and lay it sideways over the back seats folded down, I fit TWO mopeds in a honda civic with 3 people in the car, mopeds are small as fuck famalam
