Balloon financing is a program BMW does where you effectively lease the car for a given period and can buy it at the end of the period for adjusted MSRP minus the payments you've already made (this is the "balloon" payment). If you end up not liking the car you can give it back and not pay the rest of the cost. Look into it on their website.

its an ND miata with a fiat body kit and the fiat 1.4 turbo engine that's in the abarth 500 and is actually a really reliable engine...oddly enough.
so it's basically the best of both worlds, it's even assembled in the factory alongside the ND miata

80k is probably not high enough a salary to comfortably get something beyond 70k msrp
here's an exercise, calculate the monthly payments on an m4
then go get a geico quote on insurance on an m4, make sure its full collision and comp since that's required on finance
then calculate its gas mileage and figure out how much you'll spend on gas for a month worth of commuting
sum all that up
is that number less than 15% of your monthly earnings? then you're fine. I suspect it'll be way higher though
