Had to drop my transmission and replace a faulty Slave Cylinder that went out after only 3000 miles.
What has /o/ done this weekend?
Your mother.
>>14680110
Jokes on you, I never knew my mother.
>>14680099
Painted my daughters sandbox.
>>14680153
But I do.
>>14680156
Oh and I also took off my racing exhaust manifolds AGAIN to screw in some missing bolts.
bought this shitbox because I've been putting way too many miles on my F150.
>>14680099
What car do you own and why did you have to drop the transmission? I fear the day my slave and/or master goes out, and unfortunately I own cars that are notorious for having bad clutch hydraulics.
>Got stranded and had to wait 3 fucking hours for a tow last week
Pulled the Alternator and had it tested.
>Failed
I don't want to screw with it again so I ordered the new AC Delco one from amazon verses the rebuilt auto parts store alternators.
>for a bank breaking $5 more than the rebulider from vatozone
Hopefully its better.
Cleaned my car thoroughly from the inside. Vacuum cleaner, steam cleaner, loads of chemicals.
I filled gas at a gas station.
Nothing because I buy new

That looks disturbingly close to my dad when he was younger
Got under car to change oil yesterday and saw this....

This was a long time ago but i know your pain OP
> Do clutch job
> bearings, pressure plate, clutch disc, flywheel
> slap everything back into place
> 3months later
> Clutch master and slave cylinder need replacing
> FUCK
I never did it desu. My clutch would lose pressure I'd just pump the clutch pedal and it'll regain pressure, i drove it like that for like a year, until i stopped driving that truck. Still works today

Went to Import Alliance
>>14680099
Replaced upper control arms
Replacing trailing arm bushings
Finally about to get my LS400 back on the road..
Until I realized someone stole my wheels. Thanks Obama.
I had to swap the accessory timing belt and adjust my parking brake line in my mr2.
Apparently the guy I bought it from used a larger timing belt than stock and to compensate put the tension adjusting at the loosest setting like a retard which was causing massive squealing.

Fortunately my local NAPA had the belt and the pulley in stock.
got the wheels off pic related for my sentra
I also made the rough cuts for mounting plates for my strut brace, still need to drill holes and weld up a 3 point brace.

2000 Pontiac Firebird, with the v6 and T5 Trans.
did a brake fluid change on the two DDs, plus the clutch system on my truck and an oil change for the 850. Also checked the condition of the front struts since i am going on a trip next week
>good news
>they're bilsteins
>bad news
>they're toast, especially passenger side.
looking into some monroes, want to avoid sensens. any advice?
Considering rotating my tires since the good meat ones are in the back and it's not supposed to be wet.
>>14680563
But the belt is already broken...did you not notice the noise.... The no AC or power steering or the alternator light
>>14681060
No offense anon, but why even fix up that pos?
>>14680099
nothing because I'm a lazy piece of shit and its cold outside.
>>14680099
Changed the plugs on my shitbox Dodge.
Cylinder #2's plug threading is a bit fudged, I couldn't get my thread chaser in there to clean it out, need a 13/16 deep socket and bravery.
Cylinder #3's plug has a ton of ashy white deposit build up. I guess I know where all the oil is going.
>>14683257
>I guess I know where all the oil is going.
10W-40 nigga
>>14683257
>I guess I know where all the oil is going.
magically transported from your crankcase into my combustion chambers?

I always get mixed opinions with the question of increasing oil viscosity.
It's an old engine from '92 with 182k miles on it, it's bound to have leaks somewhere, that's normal. Just using this car until I can buy something better.
I put a new transmission in my car (was a 4, new one is a 5 speed) which this required taking both manifolds completely out to have enough room to tilt the engine, as the newer transmission is fucking huge
Today I just started some of the vehicles I have around that are not street legal at the moment, let them run and warm up.
Yesterday went to a god-tier concert and heard some god-tier music. Artist was The Who!
>>14680099
Helped a friend install a backup camera on his new BRZ and picked up a new set of Pilot Super Sports for my STI. Overall, a good weekend.
Got my friends '82 xj (the black one) running again. He left the fuel on and it overflowed and got into the oil and when it started up it blew gas and oil mix out the airbox then died. A couple gallons of oil, a new filter, and about 30 minutes of work and it runs just fine. Also I pulled the head off of a blaster because the piston broke
>>14680099
Wired up a switch panel into the face of my glovebox and started running wires through the firewall to get my fans hooked up.
>>14683385
nigga listen.
you dont want oil in your chambers gonna cause all sorts problems
