Can anyone else just no longer get joy from slow cars anymore?
I rented a c6 z06 for a day and holy shit. I can NEVER go back to a slow shitbox. Even my 420hp 5.0 Mustang feels slow now.
The z06 literally felt like a fucking rocketship. I could hit highway speeds in 1st gear. I have no clue how you guys say a 0-60 time in the 5s is fast.
Im an enthusiast so I like more than mashing the gas like some mongoloid so yeah

To each their own I guess, sometimes people get the straight line rush and never go back, sometimes they get over it and move to a balanced sports car. Others go back to a shitbox. There's more to having fun in a car than straight line speed. I borrowed my uncle's Renault 10 for a week while he and I were doing the headgaskets on my Legacy GT, and it's no speed demon but it'll put a smile on your face even in traffic. What a fun little car, especially for having only 50 horsepower.

Depends on the car/speed
I've driven cars way way faster than mine. (Modded STi, BMW M5, and a Porsche Cayman) But my shitty brz still feels alright when I'm on a winding road, Accelerating up to highway speeds though.. Really gotta get FI

Here's the thing, retards, now pay attention:
If you live in a place with lots of winding roads, then you can easily have fun with a slow car, as long as it handles well. You get to toss it around corners and have fun pretty much any time. If you live in a flat place with mostly straight roads, you won't have any fun in your slow car. You'll get to go fast once in a while when there's a green light and no cars in front of you at the intersection, but the rest of the time you'll be bored to tears, and frustrated when it comes time to get on the freeway.

this is what i'd say... driving car with 120kw/tonne then car with 60kw/tonne, both feel the same on windy roads besides the tiny straights in between. on uphill it's noticeable but on downhill they both feel similar besides the handling of the car
still though going in a straight line from a stop feels just as good as driving on windy road... you know there's way less chance of crashing and it's hard to find open windy roads then it is open straight roads so you can see everything
