I have actually driven one and it isn't as bad as it looks in terms of handling and comfort. It's Golf 0.5. The power though, there was 4 of us in it and we had problems going up a 8 degree slope in first gear.

Considering the car was designed with a Wankel engine in mind and the I6 was shoehorned in there at the last second, that's very true. Any engine swap to something smaller immediately makes the Pacer better.

well this one has 69k original miles and everything works, so it feels pretty new when you drive it. 140 hp doesnt sound like much, but the torque really makes it go combined with the light weight. The driving experience is surreal. Youre dragging ass when you sit in it and the steering is manual so its really tight. Also gets like 30 mpg and fits in compact spaces! Coming from a newer dodge charger its a big difference.
