If you are around 180 get an rm125. Enough to lift the tire in second but still light enough you can pick it up after you inevitably crash.

What type of riding? Woods trails? Desert? MX? My standard go to suggestion is KDX200. I had one, they're cheap, reliable, and have decent power with a wide ratio 6 speed so they do aight in tight stuff and wide open dez.

How beginner are you? Are you comfortable on bikes? Someone who rides their friends bike or uncle's bike and just now getting your own? Or are you someone who isn't very good at taking off without stalling it beginner? Anyways I was the first kind of beginner and thought I needed a 125 2stroke and I rode it about a week and a half before I bought my 250. (Also 2 stroke) I just out grew it and wanted more. Now I want a 500 but their hard to find in decent shape at a fair price. Point is get, what bike you want to be riding
