If it's any consolation, Ford's building an SUV version of the same Ranger in overseas markets. Kind of like a true spiritual successor to the Explorer, as opposed to the poor excuse of a thing we get.

You sure about that? At least in Ausfaglia the 3.2 can be optioned on any body style, so long as it's 4x4. The 4x2 is limited to the 2.2.
