What do people like you think rotary ownership entails?
Easy as piss oil changes every 3k miles, let it idle for 15 seconds before driving off and don't redline when cold, don't continue driving if it's overheating
there's no black Magic rituals if anything rotary maintenance is infinitely times easier than piston shit cars (lol subaru spark plugs)

Never implied that there were any "rituals" to maintaining one or that it was difficult to do.

They just requires more attentive care otherwise they quickly become an unreliable mess. Which is pretty undeniable given how many uniformed owners end up blowing them up.

I've worked with a 13B rotary before and while they are mechanically simple for tear down and a great design.. when shit starts breaking or you throw an apex seal gouging into the aluminum rotor housing it's not going to be a cheap ticket to drifting heaven.
