Post your car camping set-ups
Hopefully this is reasonable for a few days fishing/camping trip.
>tfw drive an e39 touring and really want to replicate clarkson's ultra comfy touring conversion
I guarantee you will be freezing inside if the weather isn't warm during the night.
Probably should bring along some extra blankets or something.

I just re watched that episode. So great.
Is the Twingo the smallest, cheapest, most ideal car for camping trips?
>>14657469
this is indeed a potential problem
you can solve that with one of these though, especially if it's on a thermostat to come on when it's cold then shot off when it's warm, just keep it at the lowest setting.
they have tip-over protection and such, and are designed to be in tents

crack a window/sunroof a bit
again, these are designed to be inside tents

My dad's car is an old fire dept vehicle, so it's actually got a little heater built into the back. It's pretty neat.

This is a comfy thread

I've got an insulating pad to sleep on and the bigass black panther blanket is the heaviest one I own. I think the pad will make more difference than anything else.
Also for the record, I'm in Texas so the night temperature is really a non issue.

>Legacy wagon
Doing it right. Wagons are GOAT for car camping, I always enjoy camping with mine

My propane heater is fine to run inside, it's catalytic, it doesn't vent anything back out into the atmosphere

that looks max comfy
>tfw there will never a fold-out sleeper top for miats
Get a 1500w ceramic heater and an inverter. In less than 10 minutes it will heat the shit out of your car then you can turn it off and wrap yourself in a blanket.

I don't think this position is any close to "comfortable" desu. You could sleep there, but not for a long time. And how tall is he anyways?
>tfw I don't need a heater because I have a down sleeping bag
That shit is super comfy and better than any blankets
I want to get a Suburban for this exact reason
In the woods it's fine. Try this in a city and you'll be swimming in crackheads.
