Depends on location, traffic patterns. My general rule of thumb is as followed:

5-10 mph over on the freeway. Surface streets no more than 5 over, too many little municipalities in my area that are sticklers for speed limits and the fines are way too high.

I usually just put my foot all the way down at night but in regular traffic speeding isn't really all that worth it, as the time gain is marginal and it only leads to frustrations.
Even during driving school I was exceeding the speed limit.

I've been driving 9 over the speed limit for 18 years in every car from a boring DD to a Red SRT8 392 and never gotten a ticket. If you don't do something to draw attention to yourself, ie, dart in an out of lanes, the police could give a fuck.
You can go 20 kph / 12 mph over the limit in Germany before you start getting points on your license and tickets go from cheap to expensive, so that's what I usually do outside of town. In town I stick to 10 kph / 6 mph over. They give 3 kph / 2 mph measurement tolerance in your favor, too.

15-20 over the speed limit on the 408 in Orlando, FL. It starts off at 65MPH out west towards Winter Garden and then goes down to 55MPH when you get closer to Orlando proper so I keep it at 70-85MPH.
Then again, I've taken the 408 every fucking day for the last decade so I know the speed traps and the layout and all the curves. When I go on a road I'm unfamiliar with I cool it down to like 5-10MPH over unless I feel comfortable. Also, I drive a 2012 5.0 so if it's pouring rain I go the speed limit.

Been hitting 90 in a 65 on my way in to work every morning lately. 5:30AM so it's almost completely empty. I'm honestly shocked at how little attention my car and driving have gotten since I moved out of NH. Probably because I'm white and no longer in the land of all white people.

In the city I do 10kmh over, which is usually slower than everyone else but I always get ignored by speed traps so meh. On the highway I do whatever traffic is doing, so 20-40kmh over.

I usually go five over, but that tends to be thwarted by people going 5 to 10 under.

Percentages brah. I don't know where you live but here in the UK you can safely cruise behind or in front of police doing 85 on the motorway (70mph limit) but be seen doing 45 in a 30 and you're fucked.

Old beetle, 1.5 single port engine. After normal driving when it hasn't been driven hard and is fully warm, it has 15 psi oil pressure at idle, after highway driving at over 60 it has close to 10 psi. Not fatal, but lower than it should be. The oil thins out at higher temperatures causing lower pressure as it flows more easily.

If alone/light traffic = whatever I'm comfortable driving at within reason and safety under the given conditions. I might go 80/75 on the interstate and I've gone 60/35 because the 35 is literally retard-tier for that road, etc. I'm more of a stickler for staying at or sometimes below the limit in residentials, twisting or unfamiliar roads, places with a lot of blind corners etc because safety.

I live in Canada but pretty much drive in MPH most the time, as do most people. I go 50mph in a 50kph zone, etc. Unless it's bad conditions, too many pedi's or too busy.
Ideally people should be paying attention to the road and not their spedo. Race cars usually don't have spedo's.
