Looks really nice. I love the old metal dash and door panels. Really nice that you have the original steering wheel and bench seat. I like the floor shifter as well.
Only things I don't like are the aftermarket deck in the dash which should have been mounted under rather than gutting the original and the plain jane gauge pack.

There isnt much to watch out with Z4's besides the engine related things that apply to all M54/M52 bmw's, cooling system needs to be overhauled at 85k, and vanos seals tend to cause rattling when the car is warm.

Something I sorely miss in my 2015 Fusion. The worst is having to use the touchscreen to enable the heated and cooled seats, there are no buttons or voice commands for it.
They made all the "fake" touch sensitive buttons near the radio (the jumble of climate and stereo controls) real buttons in the 2016 Fusion. I think Ford should swap the part voluntarily but I know they won't, so I may swap the part myself at some point.

C30 has a disgusting interior and the handling is blander than cottage cheese, i drove my brother-in-law's on a 3 hour drive to the cottage. it's a lifeless experience. ford focus and mazda3 are far more driver-oriented, you get incredible feedback through the steering and they don't have horrendously mayonnaise interiors like the C30
