It offroads well generally speaking. The small footprint has advantages and disadvantages. The powertrain isn't a noteworthy issue unless you fit gigantic tires. And even then the 100 hp 1.6L from the first gen Geo Tracker / Suzuki Vitara will bolt right in as far as I know.
