Did I fuck up /o/?
>>14626794
Yes. Coulda had a V8.
You only fucked up if you regret it. Not what I would have bought but not a bad choice
OP here.
28k miles
$28,200
2011 STi

I'm driving one currently.
Definitely not a bad choice, I'd buy one

>>14626802
$28,200!!!!!!
Wow all the V8s in the world you could have gotten and you went for a $28,000 4 cylinder.
What is the return policy?
Why not just get a new one? WTF?
This is a bait thread
>>14626794
Yes did good op
>>14627393
>Getting this triggered over someone else's purchase.
I live in a snowy climate. The AWD is almost a necessity where I live.
>>14626802
Kelly Blue Book is telling me you should of paid $25,300 from a Stealership. You can Haggle with that website so easily! I hate people that doesn't know how to buy a used car
You're kind of retarded but atleast it's an STi
>>14627495
nigger i live in fucking alaska and dd a fucking manual genesis coupe
tires>skill>>>>>drivetrain
>>14627504
not him btw
>>14627504
Let him live , he might not be the same caliber of driver that you are.
I will say this , TIRES make the car. Especially when it's a sportscar.
Better buy some ultra all seasons
>>14627497
To be fair, where I live, you always pay a premium on Subarus. For my area, KBB shows the low end is $27,900 and the high end being $32,000.

You asked for our opinion. Don't be autistic.
p.s you fucked up
>>14627517
Eh... I'm the type to cross state lines for a good deal.
How's the tire wear? Did it come with navigation?
FUNTIP: Subaru WRX STi's have the exact same engine and output since the year 2008.
Even the 2016 has the same engine as the 2008 Hatchback STi
Have fun with your car , good thing about Subaru is they retain their resale value and don't fall off a cliff like Hondas. Don't even get me started on my car
>>14627531
Fairly sure the previous owner purchased the tires less than a year before he sold the car. No nav, I don't really need it.
Some of the guys here are probably right in saying I could have paid less for it, but for where I live, the condition of the car, the mileage, no mods...I'd say I got a fair deal, not a fantastic one, but fair.
>>14627544
Invest into a COBB Acessport. You're going to need it.
Also simple things like an intake and exhaust won't ruin the resale value.
>>14627393
>Why not just get a new one? WTF?
New STi's start at $35,000. The '15+ WRX's and STi's look like turbocharged Camrys with a dated interior.
OMG you coulda had a god damn NASCAR dragster that price!
Hope you super fags know that a 2011 Camaro SS is a 13 second car that you can't see out off. The Challenger RT is a god damn boat
OP, do you by chance live in ontario? thats a crazy price
>1994 Subaru Loyale AWD 5speed.
>159k miles
> $380
Did I fuck up?
>>14627495
no it's not, snow tires are a necessity.
>>14627495
>The AWD is almost a necessity where I live.
Canadafag here. If you drive in snow, tires are a necessitty, AWD isn't. Please post back when you AWDrive it into a tree.
>>14629900
Not anon you're replying to, but does AWD even make a discernible difference in snow to justify solely buying one for snow?
>>14629900
idiot
>>14629922
awd mandatory for snow unless you drive some 2.0 liter baby's first car like that Canadian idiot
>>14629922
Only on the starts from a stand still and even then anyone with a feel for the accelerator could get out of a stop pretty quick. I'd even argue that AWD is worse than FWD in snow because should you slip during cornering the AWD could cause you to slide out from shooting power to the rear.
>>14629931
>Has never driven in actual snow
Ask me how I can tell.
>>14626809
>I'd buy one
>>14626822
You've obviously never been in a newer one. The rattling is incessant. There are so many problems but they don't kill anyone so you don't hear about it
>>14629795
I don't think you can fuck up for that little money. Looks like a pretty sweet deal to me
>>14627069
this
>>14626822
also mid 2000's subbies is the latest I'd buy
fuck modern shit
I miss the WRX wagons.
>>14629795
I'll buy it off you for 1000
>>14627083
Pretty typical of an STi, Evo's hold their value even more.
>>14627378
Enjoy your exhaust in cabin with any catback.
>>14630165
OP here. I was actually planning on getting an 06 STi, but they still range from $18-25k where I live, even below 100k miles. They are always modded and ridden hard too.
It's pretty difficult to find a mid 2000s in good condition for a reasonable price.
I'm kinda jelly. saving atm for a jdm hatch sti with the ej207 and twin scroll (right side driving country)
>>14629964
I would
It's pretty comfortable for what is is and definitely fast, brakes are excellent. It's a petrol hog and the inside is so-so.
For an all around, do everything car it fits the bill
