So I am looking for a car that has a pretty ample cargo capacity, has either AWD or 4WD, preferably the latter, is somewhat comfortable but this is not a must, and it should be on the newer side (around 06). My budget is about 15k and I do not have enough space to work on it myself although I would for small or simple jobs/fixes, so it would have to be pretty reliable. Thanks for any suggestions (pic related is possible choice)

The Jeep you posted is nowhere near 06.
Also jeeps are junk

I know but I am flexible and I have heard good things about it.

Mostly skis, ski gear, and sometimes people. I live in MA and I go to Vermont pretty often to ski.

Sounds like you need a subaru legacy wagon/outback. GT or H6 if you want more power. Pretty reliable, and good awd system.

So literally any vehicle with a ski pass through.

Xj cherokee's are fantastic

They are good, but they have minor issues. The engine and trans are solid but little things will go wrong. They will be easy and cheap to fix though, but obviously it would be better to have something that never breaks.

If you like 10mpg, steering column falling out, rust, unibody, terribly designed engine with shit power, not being able to open the back doors, etc etc... I could go on for days.
They suck

Are you seriously trying to argue that a early 2000s Jeep is reliable?
>>
>>14623748
Volvo v70
Comfortable/ luxurious
Reliable
Great storage
Fun to drive
Relatively modern design
Can be found easily under 15k
>>
>>14623958
Try 15 city and nearly 20 highway, and if this engine is so terribly designed why does it last past the 300k mile mark so often, and no one else besides you had ever had the steering shit fall out you say that every time

>Google Cherokee mpg
10mpg average. Some as low as 8mpg
You can look up the column falling out. It's listed in consumer reports many times as a common issue.
Jeeps are shit m8, deal with it
>>
>>14624019
Everyone says the mpg varies wildly, people with 31's that swear they get low 20's highway and others that say they get 16-18, all about how well you maintain your vehicle senpai
>>
>>14624019
You have clearly never owned one and are talking out of your ass.
>>
>>14624419
Nope. But have friends with them (broken in the garage)
>>
>>14624426
And they still swear it's reliable.
>>
>$8500
>a fucking 2000 cherokee

Do they sell them in packs of three or something? What the Fuck?
>>
>I just want to get from A to B
>So I'm gonna budget fifteen thousand United States dollars

L i t e r a l l y 3k Craigslist bro.

A Subaru could be for you.

> implying those numbers aren't from faggots with 35 inch tires and fucktons of other mods that ruin gas mileage and a neglected engine running on 3 cylinders
I have a stock 92. I get 14.8 in the city and that's with ethanol shit gasoline, every road being a hill and having to stop at every red light because they're retarded. On the highway I get anywhere from 18-21.
