>his engine doesn't make 190 Million Horse Power
Good.

What do you think would happen is some madman swapped that into a miata
>>14615068
Nothing. Because the fuel truck trailing behind would slow you way down.

Lift off
>>14615068
It would be an F1 with miata swap
>>14615068
You wouldn't be able to store enough fuel on board to get the engine started

>His fuel pump doesn't put out as much power as a F-16 engine at full afterburner

What if we attached it to the fuel truck?

Not nearly as impressive as watching a 40 story building lift off.

I was expecting the Challenger
Seriously thought, what -is- stopping someone from driving a jet powered car on the road with a STAY BACK 200 FEET sign at the back?
>>14616097
Nothing really but they're noisy as fuck and the cost and time of engineering would be through the roof.

How did you come to that figure of hp? From what I'm seeing hp would be less than lbs of thrust.

My friend has a story of when her mom was a cop. She got a report of someone speeding down the highway, over double the limit. It was a jet turbine powered corvette. The only reason they caught him was because he ran out of fuel. Had that not happened he would have made it across the Mexican border. So it's been done, it'd probably just not a great Idea.

Bullhit is strong on this one

You're not stupid enough to believe that, are you?
The jet turbine corvette is real, but your dumb story is not
