What's the best vehicle for a hunter? Unpaved roads will be common place so 4x4 is good to have.

Are lifts really needed for off road performance? Or can you get around most places just fine with the stock ground clearance and lifting is just a meme?
Would it be worth it to get a standard cab when a crew cab is only like $4k more?
The only problem I could see would be harder to get around tight spaces and find places to park with that extra bit of length.
An F series, Tacoma, and k10 are the best choices.

Ground clearance is important, but a lot of offroad "needs" are bullshit. I used to take this thing everywhere on the ranch when I was a kid. It saw way more offroad duty than anything but the farm trucks.

Depends on terrain and conditions, if you're getting something old for hunting and recreation then you might as well just get a 4x4. It's not going to cost much more than a 2wd.
