Yes but idk what the hell they are doing to this truck :(
>>
Are they unpacking that ruined short truck again?
>>
The fucking keg gas tank is still there. Amazing. I assume they're going to sling a transmission under there somehow, or otherwise turn the power around, since they've mounted the motor backwards.
>>
>>14599358
>>14599322
stubby bob is getting a rear mount engine with a v drive out of a boat
>>
>>14599390
Better build up that front suspension for all the wheelies that's about to happen lol
>>
Anyone got a link to Roadkill Garage? I've already seen the pilot but I'm not paying $6 a month just for that

that's gloriously retarded - and they'll be right above that V drive.

Anyways, weight distribution seems great. Wheelies when?

What are you, a faggot?

Dually piecrusts or bust.
>>
>>14599458
I think they'd flip the firewall and trans tunnel around or something, so they'd at least have foot room up front.
>>
>>14599503
Sure they would, but they'd still be sitting on a fucking V-drive. Engineered by, well, Roadkill. There better be several layers of AR500 between me and that bitch before I'd even consider getting in.
>>
>>14599503
>>14599510
how are they going to mount a transmission is my question?
>>
>>14599510
Do you have a problem with a v-drive? they dont show any problems in boats regarding reliability.
>>
>>14599527
The diff was a 2-speed, not sure if they gear the v-drive right it will give them basically a powerglide or run the v-drive far enough forward to fit a transmission somewhere in there
>>
>>14599543
It needs to not explode and put a driveshaft through either of them.
>>
>>14599527
Dude, they've already mounted the 4L80 in >>14599322. It's pointing directly into the cabin, then it'll have a Vdrive on the tranny output shaft, then it'll go to the rear end from there.

>>14599543
I'd rather keep my nuts away from a roadkill'd transfer case, thank you very much.

>>14599562
There's already a transmission in >>14599322. Also, no, you can't use the two-speed rear end as a gearbox. It'll break.
>>
Yeah they're fun.

Wish they make some more non-american vehicles tho.
>>
>>14599571
Roadkill on Japcrap would be amazing. Even better, they spend an entire show trying (and failing) to destroy a Volvo 240.
>>
>>14599583

Or building a Honda or some shit.

They made some nice stuff with the Jaguar.
>>
>>14599543
V drives can be built tough. Lots of people run them in ultra 4. If they stand up to a 700hp 4x4 with 39" tires and a t-case then stubby bob wont come close to breaking it.
>>
Is there a new episode leaked somewhere?
>>
>>14599604
You underestimate the Roadkill team.

>>14599597
Yeah, the draguar was pretty much one of their best vehicles. I wish they could replicate that with some kind of unreliable foreign car. Maybe a V12 S-class? Also, the Olds-powered REPU was pretty bitchin' too. THere should be plenty of stuff they should be able to do with foreign cars. Maybe even motorcycles sometime, as a sort of side-show for one episode.
>>
>>14599642

Yep. Or build some sleeper old toyota would be nice too.

>>
>>14599569
>>14599568
If they use a v-drive meant for a boat, something finnegan is very familiar with, they wont have any problems with it. That being said Im not sure what rpm's the v-drive can take and being on the output side of the trans its gonna be spinning very fast.

Didnt see the 4l80.
>>
>>14599620
No but there is this thing called instagram and facebook
>>
>>14599664
>>14599597
They won't and they shouldn't. You won't see that faggot shit in Hot Rod. So you won't see it on road kill.
>>
>>14599674
>Ferrari powered Firebird

That sounds rad
>>
>>14599458
It looks like its gonna be in the engine bay with a shaft running to it so as long as they build a decent firewall transtunnel thing they should be alright

http://www.speedhunters.com/2014/08/boogie-van-engine-back-wheels-air/ this also uses a V drive as well
>>

I find it annoying how much shit they get away with
>rust everywhere
>no windscreen
>no doors
>spluttering engine
>>
>>14601989
but that had an American V8. if it doesn't have 6 to 8 cylinders and one cam, they don't know how to work on it.

>>

>>
>>14602037
finnigan put together a turbo from scratch for the 240 on the show
>>
>>14602122
Everything they drive on the street is registered(supposedly). If you've seen the Nascarlo episode, they used the Monte Carlo body on the stock car for the purpose of registering it, otherwise they would've drove the stock car how it was.
>>
>>14599322

You mean Dodgekill?

Liked.

Since they started jewing the viewers with the silly MTONDEMAND and the freaking cringeworthy facebook posts/manegement the interest dropped to nearly 0.

Still subbed but not aching for episodes as in the past.

They fucked up.
>>
>>14599674

>Since they started jewing the viewers with the silly MTONDEMAND and the freaking cringeworthy facebook posts/manegement the interest dropped to nearly 0.
The Dodge sponsorship doesn't bother me nearly as much as this shit. They're obviously still committed to making quality content and non-Dodge-shill stuff. As much as I have loved the show, I don't love it enough to pay for Motor Trend OnJewmand every month.
>>
>>14602628

I've been saying this from scratch to the idiots that think they've done the next best thing to antibiotics.

It's not a major problem them going ondemand.

Problem is the trend that's picking up that every single schmuck out there that is able is going on demand. And then what will happen? Will you pay every single one of your subscriptions a mensal fee?

I know I won't. And as a matter of principle, I won't simply pay for any single one of them that baited me with the free content on a free Youtube platform.
>>
I'm liking hotrod garage more than roadkill now

Tony is a bro
>>
>>14602730

Tony is a manlet, speaks like he had twenty strokes, mumbles and half is shit is uncomprehensible, clearly is a poseur and to top it of has absolutely no tv charisma.

Lucky is ten times better.
>>
>>14602763
They're both pretty cool
>>
>>14602557
>>14602670
problem is they did it right in februari, which is their time off, so there's a gap in content. If there hadn't ben, nobody'd give a fuck.

You can't just expect show that got payed lots of money by Youtube to just go running on ad revenue once Youtube stopped paying. You can be happy it gave us Motortrend and /Drive, and let themgive as much free content as possible. We've just been spoiled by their Youtube-backed startup phase where all their content was free.

>>14602763
Tony is getting better and better - although Lucky was great from the beginning. They'll get there. It's a massive improvement over HRG episode 1 at least.
>>
>>14602868

They wanted to grow, okay, nothing agaisnt it, but then they shouldn't have found other ways to finance themselves other than on demand.

There other channels out there doing it, so it isn't impossible.

And then the fucking CRINGEmaster whos managing the social media.
>>
>>14602670
This.
Tv never did this.
You had SOME channels that produced lots of high quality content that you would pay for (hbo) but for the most part you just paid the cable/ sat company and got many channels, who got funding through ads.
These sites think themselves hbo tier shit, but they are barely public acess in most cases.
>>
>>14602884
Examples of the social media cringe?
>>
>>14602884
I only watch their youtube videos and don't follow them on social media, what do they do that's so cringy?
