either a really good type r conversion that they rewelded a RS hardtop roof onto a 2001 GSR or the previous owner took out the seats and 5-lug conversion to sell them for extra cash before tradein
either way i'd avoid it; a $8000 DC2R means you can afford a $10000 S2000/E36 M3 which is a far better driving experience.

Yeah they normally go for over 10k, at least from where I've looked. That's really too bad though, but could work out well if OP is willing to invest in his dream car.

I don't think it's a real type r. There was an ad up here for a 2000 type r, and they were asking like 17,000 and the thing had over 100,000 miles. I wanted to link to but it got flagged, probably by someone poor and butthurt
