F150s are complete shit but they still make up a lot of fleets here in the states. Why? Not because they're reliable. Because they're cheap and they're available.
Do you know why the Panther platform did so well in fleet sales? It's not because it's reliable, it's because it kept the same fucking body forever and parts would interchange. It's simple economics. It doesn't have anything to do with any one group magically knowing better than everyone else what vehicle is most reliable. By that same logic you could say Crown Vics, Chargers, and Tahoes are just as reliable.
