What cars or parts do you regret buying?

why?

i got a G37S acouple months ago
boring fucking car
>>
>>14480380
aww did someone buy automatic?
>>
i got a tiptronic audi

it's fucking boring

doesn't even snow here, or rain.

so i can't even do skids.
>>
>>14480394
tiptronic doesn't really mean anything. It shouldn't define a car since "manual" shifting ability is available in most cars.

I wanted a G37 for the longest time, but I feared that as soon as the price drops it's gonna turn into the fuckboy car again like the G35

Got a 2000 Mazda b2500 SE. I wish I wasn't so fucking scared buying my first vehicle. I'm much better at working on cars than I had ever thought. I spent $3,650 on essentially a fleet vehicle in red. Now that I go offroading I wish I had the 4wd. You would be surprised at how far you can get with 2wd and some brains, but still wish I had a 4wd. Even with the 2.5l 4cyl and 2wd I still get only 19-21 mpg on average, with mpg like that I should've just gotten a 4wd Ranger or something.Tacomas in my area are retarded expensive unless you get one with 275-300k miles. It was my first vehicle and I was just spooked into playing it safe, now I'm stuck with a boring, slow, fleet vehicle.

Same familia. I've been mirin the Gs since the G35 was still something one was proud to own, but once the fuccbois started modding them they went downhill fast. It's only a matter of time before the G37 suffers the same fate

Brother bought a old chevy pickup for 800 and has put 3k into it. It gets maybe 6 mpg and is unreliable as shit. He opens up the hood and all I see are frayed wires and fucking shoelaces holding hoses away from the fan. Good luck bro...
>>
>>14480685
I'm surprised it doesn't have a lift kit.
>>
>>14480380
Wow what a poor decision. My G35 rides like a fucking bucking bronco and transmits so much road feel it wears you out on the interstate. If you aren't in it for fun it's just an awful fucking car. Perhaps you should consider your life a failure and end it.

>>14481945
I can't deny that Twingo was a dank ass car. The E36 is still a huge improvement in terms of comfort and overall I feel much safer driving this than a rotten shitbox. It's an amazing car. But the engine... well I probably can't say it's shit because I actually got a bretty gud bargain on it, it's well maintained and sounds pretty nice for an I4 but it's not the iconic I6 and it's not all that powerful. Well I can be happy about it being impossible to kill myself while pretending to be Dagumi. You can still have fun once a year when it snows.

I got because it was cheap and had the legacy of the 400K+ mile Sierra, but honestly it's a POS. The paint is shit, it's got all sorts of dings and dents, it's got a bad knock sensor and O2 sensor, and the interior shows its age
>>
>>14480600
Sell it for a 4wd ranger?
>>
>>14481599
I ride a horse, which is exactly ONE horsepower. Just YouTube accidents on horses and you will see that "knock you back" feeling you get from a 400hp rwd godmachine can be easily recreated and outdone by one single horse. Be happy with what you have anon.

>implying I'm serous

Lol at the other anons who tell you to suck it up. At least you can meme people pretty hard when you swap that era's m3 engine into it. Just beef up the tranny if you can while you're at it and watch the smiles roll in, yours included.

I tend to overreact and only notice bad aspects of anything in my life. Like I'm 20 years old and have my own car which is also my dream car. That's not bad. My mentality of "It could always be better" might be a cause of that. Or maybe I'm just a retarded spoiled piece of shit.
I also thought of swapping an S50 and leave the 316i badge for the ultimate sleeper experience but that's far far off.
>>14482577
Still safer than the Twingo I had. The chassis was rotten beyond belief. To the point where it literally cracked in a few spots. I wouldn't even have to be involved in an accident to die.

>Needs a new coal canister
>guy who sold it to me never responded to any of my calls
>needed new drums because they sounded like death every time i applied the brakes
>oil pump, water pump and head gasket start leaking like a month after i buy it
>paint literally dissolved every time it rained

I ended up only keeping it for like 6 months. I sold it to some guy eventually for 3k.

>>14483018
Shit, I forgot to add that the guy ended up rolling back the miles. Turns out it had like almost 200k on it.

>>
My first crx, bought it for $1200 and the clutch cable was horribly adjusted so the clutch barely disengaged and the cable was hitting the flutwheel at times. Some lady kinked my bumper in and the insurance company ttaled it and i bought another one. It was a project i only had for like 2 weeks. It had no rust on it but the title was fucked

It wasn't a good anything car when it was new. My dad got one as a graduation present in college. It literally shed parts onto the road on a regular basis.

He sold it to some crackheads who robbed a convenience store and used it to get away. The engine detonated about two miles from the scene of the crime, kek.

It takes like an hour to change knock sensors. It's 10 bolts right on top of the motor, a couple of electrical connections, and the the fuel lines. And might as well do intake manifold gaskets while you're in there. And O2 sensors take approximately 30 seconds to change.

Ask me how I know lol

kek you paid 6k for a corsa? and its not even opel or vauxhall badged. the amount of these cars under £500 is outstanding. typicly a chavs first car, filled to the brim with all the speakers and lights that benefits can afford, then crashed into curbs/ other motorists/ flipped within the first 3 months.

But until then, This little batttered corsa is my DD.
