But yes. Everything that resembles a hobby in brazil is devilishly expensive. Putting together a $1000 PC will literally cost you 6.4x more, in the bare minimum taxes, and I'm sure there are special taxes they can pile in based on a protectionism policy that makes no sense whatsoever, considering that many of these interests often have no national production.

Not the Typhoon. It was the faster Syclone that beat the Ferrari 348 in the Car and Driver test, it was a drag race and the Syclone only won because it launched faster. Even Car and Driver admitted the 348 was faster once they got going. And the 348 was only the entry level Ferrari. Forget the Typhoon, even the Syclone would lose handily to a Diablo, F40, or 993 GT2.

Actually those 400 hp engines from the 60s had closer to 500. Its amazing how just choking the fuck out of a holley with smaller jets and retarding the timing can drastically reduce hp output.
