Third Gen thread? How are your third gens guys? I have a 5.7 TPI Trans Am GTA. Anyone know what a headliner goes for? Also need little things like a hatch motor, fog lights and new horns. Any good upgrades out? I've seen cold air intakes for the 88-90 models but not for the 87.

4th gen is LT1 or LS1, which is what I want for my GTA. I've got an L98, some have 305's, shitty V6's and I think there was a 4 cylinder turd gen too. L98 was basically the best turd gen engine.

It's the front shape of the nose, plus the squared inset headlights. Mad Max was pretty prophetic.
Unless someone at GM intentionally styled it after it. Which is possible, Mad Max and it's sequel did start a lot of popular trends.
Had a buddy who had an 82 Z28 Indy 500 pace car edition with T Tops. Had a few small issues but it ran really good. Fun car and it was really fun to go sideways in the back roads with it. I had an 89 New Yorker and that thing was about as fast as the Z28. Just goes to show how hard emissions were in the early 80s.
My dd. It's great. It's leaking coolant and in pretty sure the computer is fried, but fuck it ik gonna get that fixed next week I think. Just got some new tires on it. Eventually want to swap in a 350 but not sure what I'm going to do with it in the future.

It signals stuff like low coolant, doors being open, dead front/rear lights and washer fluid. It's pretty cool. There's also a system check button that will go through all the options.
