Go to community college and do one of the 2 year health care specialties. I'm a physical therapist assistant. You could also do nursing, x-ray/MRI tech, sonographer, etc.
The programs are competitive though, but since they're mostly female dominated, as a male you kind of have an ace up your sleeve in the job market since ancillary facilities love hiring men because we're physically more capable and usually less dramatic in the workplace (this was told to me by my buddy who works HR for my hospital). If you don't already have at least a 3.5 GPA and at least a 24 composite on the ACT, work on getting that. The rest will fall into place.

Also miles matter regardless of car . 100K miles of redlining V-TEC Honda is not a fun prospect . I buy all my cars with low miles . Also there is no such thing as a car with a check engine light at 45k miles , unless it has been thrashed/driven by a woman . My Beemur (or how ever the fuck the BMWankers insist on spelling it) has about 50k miles and i have had no problems with it . (picked it up at 15k)
In general , try to get low mile cars , cause thats what kills a car . The only car that has annoyed me was a 100k Mercedes A200 (wife-mobile) . The thing was a POS , all because it had high miles and a shit owner . Don't buy a car from someone who isn't a man that's married with children .
