Now I've just seen 2 Seat Ibiza Cupras for sale, a brand new 4 door, black, with 265 hp, and a 3 door with 14k km, 2 door, grey. Would you do it? Which one would you choose and why? I'm leaning towards the 4 door because it's more practical as a DD and it's brand new. Is there a noticeable difference between the 265 and the 280 hp version?

You can take any RWD shitheap and skid it about, and end up in a ditch for your troubles. For FWD to be fun it has to be built for it.
The Europeans nailed it in their hot hatches and Honda does it well (Integra, Civic Type R) but they've got the ricer Civic stigma hanging over the brand.
Mazda and Mitsubishi also had a few interesting FWD cars but they didn't put as much into those as their other performance models.

I've driven it once, and I've driven the GTD a couple of times. For long journeys I'd prefer the GTD of course, but the GTI is huge fun. Interior quality is good and suspension is not too hard.
