Apologies! I meant the bracket that the motor mounts attach to the block, the rubber bushings the bolt actually sits on, and motor mount itself (which prolly comes with the bushing anyways)

And I hear that it's wise to replace the tranny mount along with the motor mounts

>>
>>14427751
I cant really tell you about the trim, body prices vary way too hard depending on how hard it is to source these elements seeing as how you could live anywhere from nextdoor the factory to bumblefuck austraya. But Pump, timing belt as follows:

Pump: Paraut OE $36.76/183.72 x 3.8 rate
Timing Belt: $29.43/81.19 x 3.8 x rate but should be included with pump labor,

also remember coolant.
>>

I paid something like 1200 for parts+labor. I think it was bullshit but I went along with it since I needed my dd fixed
>>
2001 volkswagen jetta 1.8t
Replace cam chain tensioner
Parts $86.00
Labor $200.00
>>
>>14427775
lol this heres fucked
Radiator: Depending on if its manual or not, $371-571 List: $721.61 x 4.4(turbo) 2.2(manual) 2.6(auto)
Timing Belt: $21/29 x 3.7 or 4.0 (turbo) x shop rate
>>
>>14427777
That depends on if those were painted, we charge around 400$ per element and extra for blending. If you just had them throw em on stock bullshit black aftermarket, they cost as follows:
Front Bumper Cover: $84/129
Rear Bumper Cover: 165/256
Rear Bumper Absorber: $34/52

If you got it painted, installed, and for the price of parts, $1200 is actually really reasonable.

Ill go easy on you.

Labor: 2.4 in the front for just a bearing, 1.2 in the rear with the hub and thats X your shops labor rate.

Hub: $139/196

Thats not too bad at all, and souring the parts locally will be a lot cheaper. Go to a good mechanic and you should be roadworthy again for under 200$. Going for a smoke now.

>>
>>14428110
Realistically if you have an A-Mechanic thats done this a million times over, hell knock it all out in and hour and a half. Im just telling you what the standard labor rate is so you know the markup. Also, certain elements override each other IE if you have a oil filter housing replacement youre not also going to charge labor on the gasket.
>>
>>14428030
Wow that sucks. My mechanic said this is the worst thing that could happen :(
>>
>>14428160
I know. I'm just saying that all three part being replaced during the same work sequence anyways, so I assume I just need to get the labor of the oil filter housing in that case.
>>
>>14428164
Yea man :/ Emissions regulations fucking suck balls, if its a car thats worth it you can pay about $1500 to a company that tunes it so it but thats kinda shady so im not going to speak too much about it.

That was me, just wanted to see if they were supported on Alldata or Mitchell, guess they aren't. It's 12 hours on a QP not including labor for flywheel resurface and the parts are around $3600 IIRC if you guys are curious. Whole clutch job without resealing anything on the trans is normally around $6500 total.

I can fix it myself, but I was wondering how much it would cost to get it done at a shop.

We outsource tranny rebuilds/remans as well. MAKE SURE you know where theyre taking it and read up on the place. I cant fucking tell you how many times we sent out a tranny to "da best A+++ tranny shop my nigga u gon be satisfied liek fuk" and all they did was hit it with some brake cleaner and spray paint it silver. Your best bet IMO would be finding a junker and stripping the tranny, something that was lightly hit and obviously low mileage, although 1500$ for a rebuild isnt too bad, my regular guy charges me 1100$.

$400 bucks in parts actually. I just want to see how much a shop would've charged me. Missing: $80 in Timken Wheel Bearings, $70 in Moog Lower Balljoints, $30 for tierod boots from Honda. Axles were free.

At least for the wheel bearings and lower balljoints (which were a royal fucking BITCH to do and had me buy a 12 ton HF press ($108) and rent the c-clamp balljoint tool from Autozone).
