Reminder that anything good from the 80s and 90s that were discontinued would come back today as, as computer controlled sub two-ton as you can get. The Prelude would come back if they wanted it to (sans the name 'Prelude', that would make no sense), but it would be a FWD, only 2WS J powered CVT or 6MT. If it's anything like the Accord, it's not going to be as fun as its predecessors.
The fifth gen at it's heaviest was 3000 pounds, I can't imagine how much all the safety and computerized shit would weigh a modern Prelude down. God forbid it'd be a Euro designed Honda. The EP3 was good, fuck everything else though.

I kinda miss those sporting fwd coupes in general to be hinest. It wasn't so long ago that the market was full of the damn things - Ford Cougar and Puma, Alfa GTV, FIAT Coupe, Peugeot 406 Coupe, Toyota Celica, Hyundai Coupe/Tiburon...
Then the whole class just sort of gradually disappeared. All I can think of that's left are the Scirocco and the TC, and the former's just a 3 door hatch with a slopey roofline and the latter apparently drives like poop.
I appreciate that they were a bit of an acquired taste, but the automotive world's a bit less rich for their not being in it.

Other than most of what's been mentioned, Supra, Prelude, etc, I'd like to see this make a comeback. Honda has hinted at bringing the S660 statesite and putting in a turbo'd 1.0L, but I don't think they'll do it either.
