Easily White, so fucking bland and played out, unless it's a fleet vehicle. The select few cars that CAN pull it off would look 1000x better in another color. Dirty white cars look like used bars of soap, dirty black cars look grey and not as bad.

Disclaimer: I have a silver e60. I think sliver has got something going for it. In combination with the sun it can create the most impressive bright colorful gradients which perfectly display the shape of the car (pic related). That's why it's usually prefered by car designers. But on the other hand in usual lighting conditions it can look pretty bland - grey. I think the silver can work on some cars and can't on others. Also the silver-black combination (without chrome!) with possibly black wheels can be pretty stunning and can seem very high contrast, much more than white-black combination (because silver is reflective). On the other hand black + silver wheels is a much "safer" combination and usually looks more aggressive - more manly. Darkened silvers can also look aggressive. I have a silver E60 but I think a black one would be more straightforward and simple. Silver requires some effort and good lighting to be appreciated.

I also think that the trend of white cars is on it's decline (though it will be there for ever but the amount of white Audis and BMWs is lessening - it's more and more white thrash here) and the silver-black combination is gaining in popularity. New cars such as BMW F10 are made to look stunning in this combo. And I think this will be (is) the new trendy combo for the next 4-5 years.

Meh, my G37 is silver and I like the way it looks. silver looks bad on dirty, FWD, 4 dour sedans and SUVsm ie most of the cars on the road.
Am I the only one who dislikes most modern metallic and flake colors? Almost all new cars come with it.
