I've been on the border of getting a new set of headlights and those look really cool. How's nigthtime visibility? Is it at all possible for you to take a pic of the lights on the road and on a wall for a fellow Camaro owner? Also, do those LEDs on the side come on as running lights?

and what exactly are you talking about? And its an aftermarket hoodscoop. I should give you this info aboiut my car. It was in an accident before it came into my posession. Needed a new hood and a new paintjob, paintjob is fresh, less than 6 months old. My bumper was backed in to, and theres some chips on the inside of the scoop between the black on the pewter. (Black is metallic btw) we custom painted and taped off the hood scoop to how i wanted the points. I don't have the grille for the scoop but i will be ordering soon, which i want an opinion on what color i should get, but yall are criticizing right away before you get the 411. This isnt an LS or anything, stock v6. As for my rims, I have a set of chrome just like these stock but I'm not using them in the winter obviously, and I'd like to replace the tires on them. So I painted the rims black with a few cans of that plasti-dip type stuff, which i do not recommend, I just wanted a quick appearance change. I could've powder coated them but didn't feel like taking the time plus these are only temporary rims. Any more questions?

thank you. Night time visibility is great. I decided to get new headlights because the rubber that goes around the original ones started to rot because the car sat for a little over a year, and you cant forget its almost 18 years old. But i took off the rubber and it affected how the headlights sat. I wanted some aggressive looking headlights and i found this whole set for under $230, not bad at all. And I could maybe take a picture, but my phone is pretty messed up, so i cant guarantee it. But i have pictures of them on. I had to wire up the leds on the sides to come on as running lights along with the ones on the bottom. The bulb in the middle between the halos functions as a daytime running light, and I wanted a blinker in the headlight so i wired the running light to also be a blinker and switched the regular bulb to an amber bulb. Ill post a pic from my phone really quick

Only problem I had is they sent me a broken halo which i couldnt find in my area and had to wait a week to ship from Cali and a problem I still kind of have is the way my drivers side headlight sits. It got hit by some faggot trying to show off in a rustang, hit the fender then spun and hit the quarter panel, and the owner before did their best to straighten out the headlight bracket. But no issue in quality. It really really really opened up my field of view compared to the other set of headlights

Sounds pretty good to me fellow SG bro. Make sure after you connect the turbo that you retighten the bracket that holds the muffler bearings in place. Those things tend to work themselves loose over time and now is the best time to do it while you've got everything taken apart.

The new ones actually aren't so bad compared to the old ones. A 2013 V6 has 314hp, nothing to sneeze at. For comparison, a 2002 Z28 has 310hp. You could do worse.
For the 2013 starting at 23k when new, that's quite the steal for a 314hp RWD manual. If I didn't hate the way they looked I'd definitely consider one.

Currently put away for the winter.
Runs and drives perfect, burns and leaks tons of oil though. Doesn't bother me, I just keep topping it up with cheap oil.

Needs new tires and a parking brake cable for safety inspection, I had it on temporary insurance for a few months.
It does need to be repainted. Ideally I'd like to do a full body restoration on it. It has small patches of rust here and there, no holes though. This GTA is basically my dream car. I love the turdgens. It's stupid amounts of fun to drive with the 5 speed, and it's decently quick. Not fast by today's standards but it's a joy to drive.
My six cylinder shitbox is almost finished so I'll spend time on the GTA after that.
