Wish they were in more cars. It makes no sense for FF, automatic, everything-by-wire cars to have floor shifters and consoles. Column shifters free up space and add legroom. 10/10 imo

They're great if you have a front bench seat. My truck has a front bench seat and a floor shift 5spd and it makes the bench seat fucking pointless. Literally the only way anyone can sit in the middle is to sit damn near sideways with both legs in the passenger foot well with the other passenger, which gets uncomfortable after 5 minutes.

On my Pontiac, the wiper stalk also does turn signals. The headlights have the automatic sensor on the dash, so I never need to turn them on manually. There's a knob on the dash if I really want to turn on the headlights on my own.

That is the turn signal stalk bro. Still pulls back to flash the high beams, forward to lock the high beams, up & down to operate the turn signals. Rotate the end piece to control the wipers.
Headlights are on the rotary switch on the dash to the left of the column.
