I've got a Porsche 997 and I pay £920 a year insurance. I'm 26 with no claims and my postcode is considered high-risk by the insurance company. Further to which I dont have a garage so this is why my insurance is as high as £920 a year.
Road tax on the 2.5 engine would be quite cheap.
i have a 1998 boxster. the insurance is cheap the tax is cheap and once you do the ims strengthening the same time you do the clutch its all good. its a surprisingly cheap car to run
MX5 has a much larger parts support and scrap pool to draw from, that's why they make so much sense.

916 is really just a 914. However, they pretty rare (I think there are only 10 official 916 cars) and they're all considered prototypes instead of regular production cars.
