Its initial price may not be Porsche-tier, but its maintenance cost definitely is.
Saving up to take the plunge this summer, going to try and find a listing through a forum or through the Porsche Club of America so I know it's been kept in relatively good condition. I've spent hours reading tutorials on common mechanical issues, so assuming a mechanic finds nothing wrong I'm more worried about electronics issues than anything else. It's a less common problem but it's much harder to fix.
I own a 924 but I bought it in non running condition but is very close to running.

So far I've drained the old fuel and am in the process of cleaning it right now. The fuel pump was dead and the vacuum lines under the hood are trash, so I'm replacing both the fuel pump and vacuum lines hopefully it'll be pretty easy from there. For a car with 50k on it its in fantastic shape

My mother kept a scrapbook with things my brother and I were interested in at the time as well as a lot of school-related things.
I had inserts from a magazine that had a lot of cars in it I crushed over as a kid. The 944 was one of them. Still love the car to this day and will own one in the future. It's hard putting the S54 M3 aside though....
