I didn't think you could get these in America.

You should get a Honda Elite 80. My biggest regret is selling mine.

How much did it cost when you bought it

Ayyy here's mine, was sitting for probably 20 years and runs great I beat the shit out of it every summer, got a rusty gas tank so the carb needs cleaning all the time and I'll probably rig a new one but it's so fun even at the 27mph it can go down the back roads at my cottage.
>>
>>14211006
BTW it's pretty much all stock.. even the wheels are original which is probably dangerous as fuck but who cares! I've only dropped it about 3 times trying to pull hella skids, great fun and it can handle me and a kid no problem

I have only ever seen one, and it was owned by a JDM shop in san jose california. good luck finding one for less than 4000.
>>
ebay has one for 6,500. there's one in san diego (or one of the sans) for 2,500 but it's in pieces on craigslist (learn about searchtempest already, /o/).

Waste of money. Buy a Grom and mod it just to your taste. Infinitely more capable, reliable, and fun to ride, but still has that pit bike style.
>>
>>14207935
the whole point of that is its JDM only, small sized, and designed to fit in a car. retard

> Actually riding that
> Small wheels

Yeah, you're gonna average about 2MPH, fall over, and break your leg.
Or you'll just stop dead when the wheels jam on the first rock in the road.
>>
>>14212556
It was designed to be a spare vehicle you could easily fold and tuck away in a specially designed spot in the rear of some Honda vehicles incase you'd ever run out of gas or had a breakdown, thus is the reason for its small size
>>
I always liked the novelty factor of these. Def would have got one if I had been alive then. At this point it's just a collectors item/ show off kinda thing. Idk y prices jumped but not even 2 years ago these things were barley selling for 3k. Not sure how thats doubled now. Would rather a grom like someone else suggested.

A Honda Monkey would be a much easier option than Motocompo. Really, they are plentiful and still really small. Suzuki PV does the same trick as well.

There was even a gixer-esque PV 50 R with fairings, but they are quite collectible already.

DR30 had one - his dad partially disassembled it and sent it back from Japan in his luggage.

He wasn't ever able to get it back running again (carb got fucked up somehow), and I think he sold it to someone in Chicago from one of the faceb/o/ok groups.
>>
>>14211362
>>14212743

I've ridden a Rokon - I know a guy that has two of them in a shed. It was in winter in the snow. I've never ridden anything remotely like it - being all-wheel drive it rides really really weird. You're used to the rear tire pushing forward but the Rokon's front tire pulls you along instead. Also due to the weight distribution it's remarkably stable at extremely low speeds.

If this thing has such a big following / goes for so much, you'd think somebody would have a reproduction.
>>
I looked at them for a while, they're actually not hard to find, but they are too expensive just for a novelty purchase IMO.

If I had one I'd drive it all over town. It would definitely get good use
