What's the difference between the f150 and the raptor?
Besides the obvious?

Everyone here is wrong. F150 is for utility, like hauling, and raptor is for offroading. Raptor has IRS (or an option for it) for rock crawling, and f150 has a solid axle, which helps when pulling heavy loads.

F-150 can go down a flat dirt road but not really offroad, Raptor can go down a slightly bumpier dirt road but not really offroad.

Pretty much everything here is wrong. A raptor is an F-150. The main differences are long travel suspension with a wider track width, nicer shocks, 6.2l v8 engine, wider fenders, more marker lights, different front grille, hood, sidesteps, bigger tires, wheels, and interior. Everything on a raptor you should be able to get on another trim f-150. Not sure about the gearing, though, that may be exclusive to the raptor. Really everything that says "SVT" on the raptor is exclusive to it.
