Chevy premieres production Bolt with 200 mile range
With a claimed range of over 200 miles (322 km), the Bolt US$30K price (after rebates) will slot into Chevrolet's lineup below the hybrid-electric Volt.
Chevy says that room to seat five people is possible thanks to a 102.4-inch (2.6 m) wheelbase and its van-style roofline. There's also folding seats, and more bootspace than a Honda Fit or BMW i3.

Besides that, it looks pretty okay. If they can meet the 200 mile range in EPA testing then it is a practical and fairly unremarkable car, which is a good thing for BEVs. And it's still way less ugly than an i3 or a prius (especially the new one from what I've seen).
