Except it looks a little dated because new edge design circa what 1997-2002 but i like it looks futuristic and alot of cars since copied the big 3's older designs

I haven't driven either and I doubt I ever will, but sure, Ford did an impressive job with the GT350R.
Still though, the GT3 and especially the Turbo (S) are extremely impressive since they're still useable as a DD but can lay down some ridiculous performance numbers.
Price in the US is definitely in favor of the Ford though.

I don't think VW would appreciate it if they were to try to sneak into Golf-territory.
They're fundamentally different car companies, pretty much anyone who can afford a car, can afford a Ford, but not everyone can afford a Porsche.
Still though, I like what Ford is doing in the affordable performance market.

And while I like Porsche because they make some of the best all-rounder cars on the market, I also like affordable performance.
I'm more of a MOPAR guy in that regard though, because they tend to just do stupid shit like the Viper and the Hellcat twins, just for the hell of it.
