On port vs direct, direct injection gives you highest efficiency and performance, but it'll come at an increased maintenance cost.

so what, in this case it's true :) EFI and dual overhead cams don't break or need maintenance. It's just a higher initial cost or a better design. This is not the case with direct injection. If it were, it would be better.
