Holy shit why are the strut pillars so big?
Every day I'm gladder I got a foxbody
>>14186463
Not even to mention the spark plug jobs towards the back are hard as fuck to get to
3rd gens aren't as bad as the 4th gens to work on. You actually have a decent amount of room.
>>14186494
Spark plugs are now quite easy to change on my 4th gen with aftermarket headers. Takes 20 minutes. With the stock manifolds I agree though, it's quite the task to change plugs.

>foxbody
Sounds about right.

>>14186862
Gladder is a word illiterate faggot.
>>14186833
If your engines sit so far back what the fuck is all that hood for?
>>14186901
To look cool.
>>14186901
Huge radiator to cool down all that horsepower yo
>>14186892
Lel
I will just leave this here
>>14186931
My generator has a 4'x3'x4" radiator to cool 220 horses. I don't see anything that size fitting in a 4th gen
>>14186440
boxster is easy as balls
>>14186440
fuel injected anything
>>14186440
>WRX STI
wut why?
>inb4 sparkplugs
They're nowhere near as bad as people make it sound
>>14186440
I know not a car. But this piece of shit trail bike from 1986 I have.
>>14186440
I drive a '95 Trans Am.
Fuck that engine bay.
>>14186440
None of the DSMs are really that difficult. The GTO is fairly cramped, though.
>>14187019
It was a joke.
>>14187019
Your generator? As in stationary equipment?
This is why i only own 90's honda transverse inline fours.
>>14186440
Boxsters and Caymans are surprisingly easy, since they have access hatches in the cabin.
only plugs are hard 2 change in a 4th gen.
everything else is not hard.
>>14187052
This.
The EJ series of engines is not that hard to work on. Lot's of modern econoboxes are wayyy more cramped then a Subaru engine bay.

To put a bigger more efficient engine with twice the output.
There is a second serpentine belt behind the visible one on the supercharger. Changing it calls for 4+ hrs of labor. I don't even know how mine looks and I've never fucked with it.

What does it drive?
>>14187695
Ac compressor
Power steering pump
And water pump
>>14187750
YOLO
>>14186440
Maybe it's my autism acting up but I hate it when people say ambiguous things like 'Audi A4' or '328i' or 'C180'. How the fuck am I supposed to know which car you meant? What year? What version? What engine? Fucking dumb cunts
>>14186440
>Jaguar XJS V12
You must be kidding me. The Jaguar V12 is easy as hell to work on. It's Merc and BMW V12s that are a massive pain in the ass.
VG33E Nissans
Why do they always point the fucking hose clamps AWAY from any sort of serviceable position?
>>14186440
any 1.8t A4 is easy as pie. Such a small, simple motor.
