I agree whole heartedly on the utility aspects of the design. Its as tall as a lifted jeep, the torque steer under hard acceleration is appalling, the doors HAVE to be slammed the driving position is too high in my opinion and the transmission handles the power well but has annoying shift points and when in semi auto, its slow to respond. However the amg interior is actually pretty nice. Mercs tend to have the best bolstering and lumbar which are adjustable which is nice. The interior can be fitted with carbon fibre trim but it looks terrible so go with the piano black. All that said. You can't compare an escalade to a merc or range. They're just not in the same league.
