The only downside is the small engine, which could easily be fixed by dropping a Civic Type R engine
>Japan only
Why do we only get the shitty kei cars like the Cube? FUCK.
If the Sfr gets made I hope the US gets it looks like it will be a fun car
the cube isn't a kei car
>kei cars
>in the United States Of SUVs
Yeah, have fun with those SUV driving and texting soccermoms while you're driving a kei car

The cube is nowhere near a kei car. If you think the cube is small, just think about a car that'll look like the Cube looks next to a minivan. But it does so standing next to a cube.
Simply put kei cars are really fuckings small. American customers absolutely wouldn't buy one. Even in europe, where small cars are a thing, there's only the i-Miev and it's PSA-versions left in the category.
Also, the eninge is 660ccm. The Civic Type R engine is not going to fit.

Quit being such a pessimistic paul.
Think motorcycle engines.

Where would you want this car besides japan. It's fucking slow, at least in Japan you could go up into the mountains and have some fun on the downhills and use the tiny size to your advantage in the city. Where in America are you going to enjoy some so underpowered and where are you going to take advantage of the size.

How is it an advantage when half the cars in the city are the same size and the parking spots are sized to suit?

idk if you've ever been, but there a lot of narrow streets and alleys that it's useful to have a small car so you can park or get past other cars on.
>>14158506
