Has anyone else put LED dome/map lights in their vehicles?
>I did, pic related
>really nice
>sometimes too bright though
I dunno if I like it, I mean it looks like they really light up the place but it doesn't have that comfy soft light feel.
I did. I like how bright they are, but I really don't understand why warm white LEDs don't seem to exist. It would be a lot more pleasant
I used red LEDs in my dome lights. It looks nice at night - not hard on your eyes at all

kill yourself
I did in my work van but I have the interior lights on with the engine off a lot so i was more interested in the lower power draw than brightness. Seems to be slightly brighter maybe.
My car came with them. They're ok.
My envoys po was a dindu who wired blue leds in to the dome light, the hatch, and the front vents (which were wired to pulse with the beat of the music)
Fuckin jigs man...

But the only lighting in my truck is BLUE leds

They do, they're just hard as hell to find, at least in car applications. I'm guessing it's because they don't "look futuristic and fucky enough" or some dumb shit like that.
You're more likely to find warm LED's on things like Christmas lights and/or train sets. You could probably find and buy them as raw components from a supplier somewhere and "roll your own" LED dome light.
