Probably gonna go with the mustang just for the styling, visibility, interior. I'd like a 2014 mustang better but the new one isn't awful by any means. Camaro all the way for performance though, things a fucking monster.

Yes they are. The GT, R/T, and SS have always been daily drivable but enthusiast geared trims.

That's probably true, 6th on mine is only good for highway mpgs at low rpm. Fortunately down shifting is a thing.
Being offered 0 percent financing, what I feel were better looks and daily livability were what settled it for me. It isn't that hard to mod a Mustang to perform a lot better with the amount saved between the two cars.

That's all due to the huge torque under the curve the Camaro has compared to the Mustang. Over 400 ft/lbs of torque from 1100 RPM to redline, thanks to VVT and direct injection.
The Coyote motor just isn't as advanced as the LT1.
