I used to a little bit. I got in a minor accident for unrelated reasons (too late in changing my tires, following too close on icy roads) and I've stopped pretty much every unsafe driving habit I had since.
Except skids, but I only do that on empty roads with nobody around so I'm just endangering myself.

That could be due to locking up the brakes, or heavy acceleration. All that matter is the tires aren't moving the same speed as the road.
