So I have owned tons of fun cars. 300zxTT with over 500 whp. GTO. Mustang GT. Several 240sx. Titan. Trooper. Ram Dually 3500. Corolla GTS. S2000. A couple sport bikes and cruisers and tons more.
So here's my dilemma. I have $8,000 to either buy a cheaper vehicle or to put down on a vehicle under $30k OTD. My dilemma is that I need something more adult I have a couple dogs I take out in the woods, I go camping with the lady a couple times a year. I have to haul shit for the house. And I just can't decide what I want! I am open to wagons, 4 door sedans, trucks, suv, even vans. I like from 1940 to today. I was looking at VW vanagon but they are all trashed or retarded expensive. So please brothers, reply with a post with 1 or 2 vehicles YOU would buy and tell me a bit about the good and bads (things to look out for). I just went to look at a 2006 Range Rover today and just didn't "feel" it. I've been looking forever and just can't make up my mind.

OMG I want one. I found some that were clean for about $15K!!!! The rest are literally all projects (the 4x4's) that are cheap. The bronco is very high on my list. Can't decide if it's worth restoring myself or just saving for another month or two and buying one already restored.

Nope. Not at all. Also, I've owned them over the years. Not everything was bought and sold this year you tard. I bought the 2003 GTO in 2006. The 240's I bought one in 2002 and then a couple more as track cars through the years. The Z I fully restored for about $20g. It was wrecked into by a drunk driver. The mustang GT I bought brand new in 2010. I just sold that. The CBR I still have. I have the RSX type S still. The ram I bought brand new in 2006, it was for my business. I still drive it all the time.

Yes Toyota has a bunch of solid forums with much better advice than /o/....I have a tacoma so not sure on 4 runner specific ones but tacoma world has a pretty decent 4 runner section and I think ih8mud.com does too (it's mainly for land cruisers)
